What are the Benefits?
Sports Axiology and Behavioral Style are our basis for understanding and developing effective coaching, individual and team play.
Axiology provides a structured understanding of thinking and attitudes that affect play on the field. With our axiology based process we are able to provide coaches and athletes with an accurate assessment of mental and emotional conditioning. We are able to measure communication patterns, team engagement preference, self-esteem, current emotional status and then recommend the most effective development strategies.
The Motivators, Behavioral Style and Emotional Intelligence reports increase self awareness, awareness of others and easily help develop an understanding of how to improve relationships and communication between coaches, players and parents when parents are involved.
In addition to increasing self-awareness and facilitating communication between coaches and athletes, our profiles will allow teams to measure the effectiveness of the mental conditioning programs that are already in place. We recommend that players take profiles at intervals during the season in order to measure progress and take the "temperature" of the team.
There is increasing evidence of the impact coaches have on player development. Our assessments provide the insight and information to help coaches learn more about themselves and their players so relationships are valued and developed. As a result athletes learn more, play better and learn life-long leadership skills.
Naturally, the more we are able to communicate with players and coaches directly the more information we can provide. However, our evaluations are also able to provide an immediate and accurate picture of an athlete's mental state. We have many resources for players and coaches to stay focused on the many dimensions of peak performance.
